TrueVoteMd Releases Election Day Findings

"When the Right to Vote Goes Wrong: Md Voters Tell The Story of Election Day 2004"

On Tuesday, November 23, 2004 TrueVoteMD will release a report and present findings from nearly 600 pollwatchers who toiled long hours on Election Day documenting hundreds of incidents disenfranchising possibly thousands of voters ranging from denials of provisional ballots to numerous kinds of voting machine failures.

TrueVoteMD pollwatchers will give eyewitness accounts and detailed documentation of polling places, officials and specific vote tallies and machine serial numbers. The event will demonstrate specific machine vulnerabilities and will outline preliminary recommendations about areas of needed improvement in election administration.
